The solo songstress is known for her fusion of punk, jazz, folk, and blues styles and excellent, emotional guitar playing. 2018's 'Wanderer' was a highly regarded piece of work from the artist and featured a Lana Del Rey collaboration.

The band cites country music, Mariachi, new wave, college rock, funk, Iranian folk music, Brazilian music, and hip hop as their main influences and are particularly noted for lead singer McCrea's monotone singing style, sarcasm-heavy lyrics, and unique trumpet lines. Their last album Showroom of Compassion was released in 2011 to the top of the chart for the first time.

Oregon indie band STRFKR are heading out on an extensive US tour this year to support their album Parallel Realms' out March 1. The band kick things off in California this March, before ending their 4-month stint in Phoenix Arizona. With support from Ruth Radelet and Holy Wave this is shaping up to be one of the most electric tours of the year.
